To be awake andaware in the deep sleep state is Yoga Nidra. Some may call it Yoga NidraMeditation but unlike “true” meditation, which is done in a seated posture, Yoga Nidra is done in Savasana (corpsepose). This ancient Tantric technique has a multitude of benefits that are known tomany but are simply side effects of the practice.
